Visual Studio 2008 launch and availability dates

I am sure by now a lot of you have heard that Visual Studio 2008, Windows

Server 2008, and SQL Server 2008 will** launch** on February 27^th, 2008. However, what a lot of people do not realize is that a product will be released to manufacturers (RTM) long before it is actually “launched”. So anyone with access to an MSDN account will be able to download Visual Studio 2008 and possibly Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 before this year ends.

I believe that the Visual Studio 2008 team will be only working on performance tweaks from here on out, due to my recent interaction with the Orcas July CTP.
