DoppelTab support
Tab access
Open the extension popup and choose Allow tab access. Without the optional permission, DoppelTab cannot compare your currently open tabs and will not scan or close anything. Your browser may describe this permission as reading your browsing history, but DoppelTab never reads past history.
No duplicates found
DoppelTab compares complete browser-reported web addresses. Differences in schemes, hosts, paths, query strings, query order, or fragments produce separate groups. Navigating and non-HTTP(S) tabs are skipped.
Closing and undo
The popup rechecks every selected tab immediately before closing it. Active, newly pinned, newly audible, missing, or changed tabs are skipped. Undo reopens tabs only; it cannot restore form text, scroll position, JavaScript state, or an open review dialog.
Security
Do not include private web addresses, cookies, page contents, or other sensitive data in public reviews or discussions. Use the support channel provided by the marketplace listing for private follow-up.
